Had a lot of issues as a kid, MMA turned out to be the perfect outlet for that, and now I just love it…plain and simple.

Advice For Up And Coming Young Men And Women Who Are Beginning Their Path In MMA:

Find a good team, that cares about you. Don’t rush anything because it takes a lot of time and dedication. Also, train smart, don’t over or undertrain yourself, both have bad results. Know your limits! Don’t be a scrub and try to hurt people in the gym either. And finally, if you’ve got some kind of strange funk (staph, mrsa, or ringworm) then stay the hell off the mat.

What's your ultimate goal regarding MMA: To be the best at what I do. Short term goal is to beat anyone and everyone I need to to get a belt around my waiste.

The reason you took the path of MMA:  I have always been competitive and athletic. MMA will test your heart and I like that. I am addicted to the feeling of having my hand raised and punching people in the face is pretty fun too.

What advice can you give to the young men and women beginning their path in MMA? This sport is a tough lifestlye to live. It is demanding and it will test your heart, but when you dedicate yourself and love what you do it will be most rewarding road you travel. Focus and train hard, don't settle and set your goals and blast through any wall you encounter.
